New Columbus Crossover 48 | Palumbo Superyachts

Columbus Yachts unveils the new Crossover 48, a 48-metre explorer yacht conceived for those who regard the sea as a realm of discovery and beauty. The vessel spans four decks and is being self-financed by the yard, with the keel already laid at Palumbo Superyachts’ facility in Savona.

Built on a proven naval platform that has been further refined, the Crossover 48 combines a steel hull and aluminum superstructures, with a maximum beam of 8.60 metres and a draft of 2.75 metres—dimensions intended to ensure stability, autonomy, and ocean-going performance. The design, developed by Hydro Tec (also responsible for naval engineering), features taut lines, muscular volumes, and sculptural bow proportions that accentuate its strong explorer identity.
